From Small Beginnings Come Very Big Things

Founded 30 years ago in Austin, Texas, as the Del Sol Food Company, Inc., BRIANNAS Fine Salad Dressings grew out of a desire to create a superior product with family pride and consistent high quality. Named after the owner’s daughter Marianne and grandson Brian, BRIANNAS has grown to become one of the most popular salad dressings in the world. We’ve received numerous first place industry taste awards for our delicious dressings. And even BRIANNAS packaging was honored with the most prestigious award in packaging design, the “Clio.”

Quality That’s All in the Family

The Del Sol Food Company is family-owned and operated, with four Del Sol family members involved in the day-to-day running of the business. Through the years, the “family” has been instrumental in creating the award winning packaging and exceptional dressing recipes. Many of these recipes are unique to their flavor category.

State of the Art in the Heart of Texas

There are approximately 50 people employed at Del Sol Food, and many of these dedicated individuals have been with the company for a significant number of years (Half of our employees have been with us for over 10 years!) All BRIANNAS salad dressings are manufactured in our state-of-the-art, climate controlled facility in Brenham, Texas. The new location, built in 2006, provides many improved benefits including more warehouse and office space, improved quality control and better product flow. In addition, there’s plenty of real estate for future expansion. The new plant also boasts a superior rating based on food manufacturing standards.

Almost Too Delicious for Words

From the very beginning, we’ve been focused on one thing and one thing only – creating the highest quality, most delicious salad dressing available anywhere. We make all of our distinctive flavors “home style,” a little at a time, in small batches, just like you’d make them in your own kitchen. In fact, most of our recipes were first created in our family’s kitchen at home. Salad dressing is all we do and we control the process from beginning to end using only the best of ingredients. We believe this attention to detail plays a large role in setting us apart in the marketplace. Our salad dressings’ unique flavor profiles, and the many different ways you can use them, are just a couple of the reasons that our customers reach for BRIANNAS.
