5 Years Incident Free

Del Sol Food Celebrates Five-Years
With No Lost Time Accident

Del Sol Food Company, Inc. celebrated 5 years without a lost time accident, Friday, May 11th, at their plant in Brenham, Texas. Employees gathered for a barbeque lunch with all the fixin’s. Jackets commemorating the accomplishment were given to employees, as well as a bonus.

Jerry Brown, President, presented a 2007 “Safety Award” plaque and remarked, “Going 5 years without a lost time accident in the manufacturing business is a milestone few companies reach and most only dream of. The Team here at Del Sol Food has been exemplary in many ways and I continue to be very impressed with what they accomplish together.”

To further commemorate this momentous occasion Del Sol Food is flying a 5 Year Safety flag below their 25th Anniversary flag at the company’s front entrance.

As of April 1, 2007, Jones-Neitzel Company Food Brokers will represent Del Sol Food Company's Foodservice Division in the North Texas foodservice market. Jones-Neitzel has been in business since 1946 and represents manufacturers of a diverse array of products including: meat, poultry, desserts, canned and frozen fruits and vegetables, as well as a wide array of specialty products.

Del Sol Food Company, Inc. named EXCEL Brokerage Company, Inc. located in Portland, Oregon "BRIANNAS" 2006 Broker of the Year. The award was accepted by Carl Bangle. Carl was selected for the 2006 award because of his excellent sales team, sales volume, dedication to service and for his courteous and professional business standards.
